Björn Keller has been established for many years as one of Sweden’s most successful still-life photographers. His elegant style has resulted in assignments for such prestigious magazines as Esquire, Wallpaper and Stockholm New.

”It really doesn’t matter whether it is a sardine, a tree or a building in front of his camera. It’s all a question of volume, surfaces and spatiality.
Nevertheless, my hope has been to delve into the essence of the subject and reflect the motif from a personal perspective, with hints of visual collisions and humor,” Björn Keller explains.

”It was nature that guided me to photography. The wanderings of my youth into forests and along waterways throughout Sweden, in search of an owl or a snipe. With a backpack containing Rosenberg’s Birds in Sweden, binoculars, a tin of food and a simple camera.

”And so it has continued, although now I more often invite nature into my studio. For 20 years, I have been bringing in stones or flowers from the garden and I haven’t tired yet,” says Björn Keller.
